Aviation Cocktail

"A cult-ish favorite among the most serious cocktail aficionados, this pre-prohibition era gin drink is making a comeback. Serve 'up' and garnish with a cherry."

Ingredients :

• 2 fluid ounces gin
• 1 tablespoon maraschino liqueur
• 1/4 fluid ounce lemon juice
• 1 cup ice
• maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions :

Prep : 5M	Cook : 1M	Ready in : 5M

• Combine gin, maraschino liqueur, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, cover and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Notes :

• Include ¼ oz crème de violette to enjoy the original recipe of the drink.
